How does FrameMe work?
FrameMe uses on-device AI to analyze your camera viewfinder in real-time. It provides coaching on lighting conditions, subject distance, composition, and pose guidance — all without uploading any photos to servers.
Are my photos stored in the cloud?
No. All AI processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos are saved only to your phone's photo library. We never upload, store, or have access to your images.
Why does FrameMe need camera access?
FrameMe needs camera access to provide real-time coaching overlays. The app analyzes the camera feed to detect lighting, faces, body poses, and composition — then gives you live guidance to help you take better portraits.
Why does FrameMe request location access?
Location access is optional and used solely for Golden Hour detection. By knowing your location, FrameMe can calculate accurate sunrise and sunset times to alert you when natural lighting is perfect for portraits.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from Settings > Delete Account within the app. This will permanently remove all your data including saved settings and any synced preferences. Photos saved to your photo library are not affected.
What devices are supported?
FrameMe requires iOS 17.0 or later and works on iPhone. For best results with distance measurement, we recommend devices with LiDAR (iPhone 12 Pro and later).
